Heirloom textiles transformed into timeless garments

Our designs maximise the beauty of vintage textiles for a unique, eco-friendly wardrobe.

Keep Collective is about cherishing the textiles we already have in circulation. By taking post-consumer textiles, which would otherwise go to landfill, Keep Collective is helping to reduce the waste created by the fashion industry. Making something unique and beautiful out of pre-loved and vintage, natural textiles is key to creating a sustainable wardrobe which is good for us and our planet.

Keep Collective was founded by Georgie Carter who makes every single garment from her home studio on the Isle of Wight.

What started off as a hobby soon became a passion. Shunning fast fashion and plastic ridden high street clothes, Georgie started making her own wardrobe from natural textiles found in charity shops and second hand outlets. She soon amassed quite the collection of vintage textiles and deadstock fabrics so decided to start making for others too.

Every piece is made from textiles saved from landfill. These garments are all one offs or small batch collections which honour the beautiful craftmanship of the original textile through a contemporary lens.

Georgie was a contestant on Series 10 of the Great British Sewing Bee. She now runs sewing workshops locally on the Isle of Wight and Hampshire and will be at Goodwood Revival 2025.
